Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers…

I’m staying in one of your accommodations… what do I do when I arrive?

When you drive onto the Oasis property, please follow the signs to the check-in area and check in with the front desk.  We will then show you to your room (teepee, or geopod).  Check in time is between 2pm - 6pm on your day of arrival, unless specified otherwise on your event ticket.  If you will be arriving outside of those times, please contact your event coordinator and let them know or message us in our community group HERE.

What will the weather be like?

Please see our “Oasis Weather Report” in our Plan Your Trip section HERE.

What should I pack?

Please see “What to Pack” in our Plan Your Trip section HERE.

Where can I shower?

Each of our guest rooms have their own private bathrooms & showers. In addition, we have 7 flushing toilets and 4 outdoor hot showers for those guests staying in the teepees and geopods.  Please see our amenities section for details.

Is there clean water on the property?

Native Springs Oasis sits atop an artesian spring where our water comes naturally from the Earth.  Combined with our filtering process, it is some of the cleanest water in the world.  We have many spouts outside around the property.  Water from any faucet on the property is drinkable spring water.  We invite you to drink up and feel refreshed and rejuvenated while you visit.

Is there Wifi?

The NSO property does have guest wifi but it is very limited.  The password is supplied to those staying in our guest rooms.  We are in a very rural “off grid” area and cannot guarantee that it will work.  We invite you to unplug, relax, immerse, and enjoy being in the present moment with your crew.

Is there cell service?

Some networks that have been known to work are T-mobile and Verizon but like our Wifi, that can be spotty and cannot be guaranteed.

Is there power in my Teepee and/or Geopod?

No, we do recommend bringing a camping lantern and a battery charge pack if you’d like to charge your phone or laptop.

Can I charge my electric car?

No, we do not have charging stations for electric cars.

I’m traveling in my RV, are there hookups?

No, RV’s need to arrive with their own power and water source.

Is there a curfew?

We have quiet hours between 10pm - 7am.  Amplified music must be confined to the Thunder Bowl after 10pm.

Can I make a fire?

We have designated fire pits which must be overseen and managed by the event staff only.  For safety, there is no lighting of materials in rooms, teepees, geopods, or any accommodations on the land.

Where can I smoke?

Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas designated by NSO.  Please be mindful of other guests and dispose of all butts appropriately.  For safety, there is no smoking permitted in rooms, teepees, geopods, or any accommodations on the land.  Vaporizers are permitted at the Oasis.

Is there Wildlife?

Yes, we are on an Oasis, surrounded by desert and mountains and share the land with a variety of animals and plants.  You are likely to spot some deer, a coyote, hawks, and possibly a snake.  Be mindful of where you are, be respectful to their habitat, and they will return the favor.  They usually try to move away before we can get too close.  We recommend wearing close toed shoes at all times. In addition to our animal friends,  there are cacti and other prickly plants all around.

Where can I buy food/groceries?

There are a few markets in close by Lake Isabella and Kernville.  We suggest the following linked below…

Vons Lake Isabella

Sierra Gateway Market Kernville

Grocery Outlet Lake Isabella

Where is the closest gas station?

Mobil in Weldon is 13.4 miles (19 minute drive) from Native Springs Oasis. Location is linked HERE

Can I bring my dog?

That is up to your event coordinator for your specific event. If you do, please keep in mind that you are responsible for your dog at all times when out on the property. We suggest always keeping an eye on them and keeping them on a leash. There are predators such as coyotes, bobcats, hawks, rattlesnakes, etc and we want your furry friends to stay safe. Native Springs Oasis is not liable for your pet.

What is there to do around there?

Lots! Our gorgeous slice of California is abundant with adventures! From hot springs to river rafting to antique shopping… the fun never ends! Please see our Field Guide for a list of our favorite local attractions as well as things we suggest you check out right on our property!
